America’s “Patriotic Artist and Renaissance Woman”
To appear on “Larry King Live “Saturday, March 19, 2005

WASHINGTON, DC (March 15, 2005) – Leith Eaton to appear on Larry King Live
on CNN Saturday, March 19, 2005 (EST- 9 PM repeats at 12 midnight)

The American-born impressionist and founder of Scintillism, an evolutionary school of Impressionist art, is at the forefront of contemporary art in America. She began her art career through the medium of three-dimensional design. Since her solo introduction to the art world in 1991, she has been delighting art circles with her original new school of painting. Her works are included in the collections of the Royal family of Italy, the Royal family of Yugoslavia, Prince Pierre d’Arenburg, Frank Sinatra, Lilly Pulitzer, and Congresswoman Mary Bono.

West Chester University defines her style of art as “a revolutionary form of impressionist painting.” Ms. Eaton achieves this “sculptured” style of painting by layering color over color on canvas, creating an amazingly heavy textured surface of brilliant light reflection and abounding energy. Through this stunning new art form, known as Scintillism, she is able to transform atmosphere and light, so revered by the French impressionists, into movement and color, uniquely, in a way that provides a greater spatial dimension for her subject. Commenting on her work, Ms. Eaton said: “My paintings are a tool to promote a vibrant feeling of energy, movement, and pleasure. They have become for me an expression of love and happiness.”

Her successful visit last year to Washington, DC, was scheduled during the annual Congressional Arts Advocacy month, March 7th - 13th, 2004, for a solo art exhibit entitled America the Beautiful II at the Russell Senate Office Building Rotunda. The exhibit featured sixteen paintings by the young artist that depict her interpretation of the natural beauty and grandeur of the American countryside. A private reception for Ms. Eaton and friends was hosted by Senators Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) and John Warner (R-VA) at the Senate Rotunda. Washington Mayor, the Honorable Anthony Williams, proclaimed “Leith Eaton Day”, March 11, 2004. Her paintings were viewed in a solo exhibit at the Woodrow Wilson Center, Ronald Reagan International and Trade Center in September, 2004. Arrangements are being made to take the exhibit, which was premiered in Washington, to New York, Miami, Singapore and Paris later in the year.

Ms. Eaton will be featured in an upcoming exhibition at The Lacy Galleries, in Los Angeles, April 7, 2005; she has a 20 Painting Commission through the Fine Arts Council, LA; she is the author of a new book “Journey To The Fountain Of You”: 21st Century Guide for a more Positive, Powerful and Productive Lifestyle; and is in negotiations for two Film projects, one about Lady Hamilton, who was the most painted female figure of her time, and a Hollywood mystery.

Artist: Ms. Eaton who is a direct descendant of King Edward III of England has distinguished herself within a very short period of time with her many achievements. A painter, sculptor, screenwriter, director, actress, songwriter and more, Ms. Eaton is founder of the International Arts Association, a philanthropic global organization dedicated to promoting the arts. Some of her paintings may be viewed seen on her Web site www.leitheaton.com.

LEITH EATON, American-born impressionist, and the founder of Scintillism, an evolutionary school of Impressionist art, began her art career through the medium of three-dimensional design. Her solo exhibit, held under the sponsorship of Senator Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) in March of this year at the US Senate Russell Rotunda in Washington, DC, featured seventeen paintings that depict her interpretation of the natural beauty and grandeur of the American countryside.

Critic and art historian at the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the United Nations, Dr. Jasna Pervan Huertley, wrote "Leith is an innovative artist who has created a new trend.....her masterful technique compliments and enhances her exciting subject matter......vivid layers of colors...enhanced reality..an almost sculptured effect..
